Buying Products & Services

When you buy products and/or services from me, your details are used to administer the shipment of products, or in the case of services that I provide, to administer your booking(s).

The following data-processors / data-controllers are used in each product & service transaction:

Website: Squarespace

Squarespace takes care of recording all product & service purchases. It records all the information you are asked to provide as part of your purchase. But it does not store your bank card details. In fact your bank card details are never known by Squarespace or by me and are encrypted and passed on to Stripe which is the payment processor I use. Your order details are kept on my squarespace account indefinitely for administration purposes.

Payment gateway: Stripe

Stripe is an on-line payment processor for handing credit and debit card payments. Your bank card details are known to Stripe only and are transmitted in an encrypted and secure way. Your bank details are never shared with me, nor known by me. Your bank details remain completely private between you and Stripe.

Invoicing & Contact Information: Zoho Invoicing

Zoho Invoicing is an invoicing on-line system. I use this to create invoices for deposits and final balances for any services you buy from me. In order to issue you these invoices, I share your name, address, telephone number and email address with FreeAgent, so I can send out invoices to you. Zoho Invoicing does not share your personal data with anyone else.

I need to hold on to your personal details until your services have been completed. I keep your name, address,  telephone number and e-mail on my system once the tour is complete as I have a high repeatable client base. However,  if you wish to have your details removed from my Invoicing system, please e-mail me and I will ensure your data is removed.

Product & Services notifications / confirmations: gmail

All product & service purchases are sent to my gmail account where they live indefinitely. As part of my booking process I record your name, address, age, sex, date of birth, appropriate medical information and next of kin. Should you wish me to remove your booking record from my email, please contact me and I will delete it.

Office Administration: DropBox

I hold spreadsheets on DropBox containing workshop bookings. All bookings record the first name, last name and email address of every customer.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I will hold on to your email address and first and last name.

Newsletter & Campaigns: Mailchimp

Mailchimp is used to maintain my newsletter mailing list and to send out my newsletter campaigns. Mailchimp does not share your details with any other third parties.

When you subscribe to my newsletter, you can cancel you subscription at any time and are given an easy way of doing this by an unsubscribe option at the bottom of every newsletter e-mail sent out to you.
